For those who want to visit the Land of the Lost Tribe of Israel, some important things to know are the following:
As the Restricted AreMIZORAM state falls under as of the Government of India Acts - Visitors/ Tourists can visit Mizoram only by permit issued from the Central Government of India, Home Ministry, New Delhi. So permit should be applied in New Delhi or an easier way to it is to.
To apply to the state Government of Mizoram, though a sponsor by a person residing in Mizoram state.
For sponsoring a visitor/ tourist intending to visit Mizoram should fax or email their particular Photostat copy of:
• Passport
• Validity of Visa
• Present address with Job name
The Chhinlung Israel People Convention (CIPC) can sponsor any individual with valid Passport and Visa as mentioned above.
Permit can be issued 15 days from the date of application if there is no Government holiday.
